What to expect

Within the therapeutic relationship, I strive to create a sense of safety and warmth from which you feel able to explore and bring to light areas of your life or yourself in need of warmth. I believe in the inherent capability of my clients and hope to support them actualizing their goals with confidence and compassion.

Walk and Talk Eco-Therapy

Walk-and-talk therapy occurs outside of the office and is offered at the request of the client. Many of my clients prefer movement and talking without the pressure of eye contact. Additionally, there are many notable benefits of engaging the body in bilateral stimulation through left-right movements such as walking. Walk-and-talk sessions can occur near my office conveniently located in East Asheville, close to several forested areas.

I offer in-person office based therapy in East Asheville. My office is cozy and soft and stocked with fidgets and games as well as a waiting area for caregivers.

And that makes me happy. For it says that no matter how hard the world pushes against me, within me, there’s something stronger – something better, pushing right back.”
